Tutorial Tuesday: Raglan Romper, plus Handmade Fair Tickets Giveaway!

This week's tutorial features a quick and easy Raglan Romper tutorial from the amazing Misty at Immackulate.  Misty has 13 children so she should know a thing or two about making great baby clothes!

Using an existing baby sleeper (or you can use any top which fits your child), Misty takes you through how to draft and sew your romper.
It's a simple make, but with the contrasting raglan sleeves, neckline and applique design (Oh how I love applique!) it makes a brilliantly professional finish.  You can personalise the applique with your own design to suit your baby, but I just love Misty's plane!
As you can see, Misty's son Josiah looks great in his!
Cotton Jersey or Cotton Lycra are perfect for baby rompers. I've selected a few of my favourites below...

We're excited to announce we will be exhibiting our beautiful fabrics at The Handmade Fair at Hampton Court Palace from 16-18th September!

Come along, say hello and check out our gorgeous range of fabrics, including some new lines not on the website yet!

We also have an exciting new product launch which will be premiering at the fair! (more news about this later, so keep an eye out!)

We have free tickets to give away to 5 lucky people, each with a spare ticket for a friend to accompany you!

To enter our prize draw, simply subscribe to our newsletter by entering your email in the box at the top left of the blog, then add a comment below with your email address and the email address of your friend (who will also need to subscribe to the newsletter). You can use * instead of @ in the comment to prevent spam.

If you are already a subscriber, just add a comment with the email addresses.  We will draw 5 random lucky winners at midday on Thursday 4th August and announce them on the blog Friday 5th August.

Tickets are for entry only, but can be upgraded to full experience tickets for £15.  One entry per person (friends can enter separately), multiple entries will be discounted. Winners and friends must both be subscribed to the newsletter for valid entry to the draw. Entries without friends will be eligible for winning single tickets.  We have 10 tickets so winners will be drawn until we have 10 names!

Good luck!
