Tutorial Tuesday: 5 minute No Sew Projects for Fabric Scraps, & Moneta Party

My sister in law Yvie recently sent me these pictures showing some lovely additions to her conservatory using the left over scraps of material from the toy box covers she made (see link HERE).
I asked her how she made them and she sent me the link to this video for 5 quick and fun projects using old T-Shirts (or of course leftover scraps of fabric!)
The video is only 1 minute long but has some great ideas for quick and simple no sew projects - pictures, cushion covers, a funky scarf, a cute bag and a braided headband/ bracelet.

Turns out we had already done the first one, making framed fabric pictures. When we set up the warehouse we wanted to brighten it up and so each  of us chose our favourite fabric to frame -
These are great projects for making with your children, perfect for gifts, or to display your favourite fabrics or re-purpose treasured items of clothing.
Why not try one of our new 1/2 metre Mystery Mix packs to use for these projects, or your favourite fabrics, a few of my picks from the store:

The Triple Stitchers (@sewpositivity, @rach_wain & @sewabigail) are hosting a party to celebrate their favourite pattern, the Colette Moneta Dress and Girl Charlee are proud to be one of the sponsors!

Details of the Party can be found HERE, with more details about all the prizes to come soon.  You can also check the hashtag #monetaparty on Instagram for more info.

As you can see from this picture, the dress looks stunning, with all 3 ladys choosing their favourite Girl Charlee fabric to make theirs (Elle very cleverly used our plaid fabric wrong side out, with feature sleeve details turned right way out!)

Click on your favourite below to get yours and join in the party!
