Tutorial Tuesday: Cardigans for #cosycardichallenge

We're proud to be sponsoring the #cosycardichallenge on Instagram (check out all the information on Amanda's blog HERE) so we thought we'd give everyone some inspiration with some top cardi tutorials and pattern recommendations.
There are lots of prizes up for grabs including a £50 Girl Charlee fabric bundle (with many of the fabrics featured here, so you can cardi to your hearts content!)
This Hacci Knit Kimono Cardi Tutorial by Porita Lawrie at Makery is quick and simple, and doesn't require a pattern! (Portia used our Cocoa Mauve Tonal Stripe from our Hacci range.
We actually featured this Summer Knit Cardigan Tutorial exactly a year ago and it has proven very popular. Jen from iCandy Handmade takes you through each step and there is a free pattern you can download to print.
For different styles of cardigans, here are some patterns we thoroughly recommend, with some fabric suggestions -

Fall in Love Cardigan by Sew to Grow  (Figure flattering, featuring a tie at the waist for different looks) as featured here in our BOLT by Girl Charlee Cotton Spandex
Esme Cardigan by Named Clothing (Oversized straight cut cardi with pockets, which hits below the knee!)
Longley Drapey Cardigna by MiY Collection (Draped front, deep neckband and hemband and foldback cuffs...gorgeous!)
The Longley - Drapey Cardigan PDF Pattern
Jenna Cardi by Muse Patterns (Cropped, fitted, round neck with different length and sleeve options) as shown in these pretty versions by @amilliondresses using our solid cotton spandex fabrics

Newcastle Cardigan by Thread Theory (slim fitting with shawl collar) because men deserve cosy cardis too!
